Terms of Service
Last updated:
Forest Freaks Records is an independent record label based in Lithuania. These terms cover your use of this website.
1. What this site is
1.1. This site is a catalogue. It presents our releases, our artists and our products, and links out to the places where they can be bought.
1.2. Nothing is sold here. There is no checkout, no cart and no account. This site takes no payment and processes no orders.
2. Purchases
2.1. Music is sold through Bandcamp. Preset packs and other digital products are sold through Payhip.
2.2. When you buy from either platform, that purchase is governed by their terms and their refund policy, not by these terms. Payment, delivery, receipts and support for the transaction itself are handled on their side.
2.3. Prices shown on this site are indicative. The price charged at checkout is the one that applies.
2.4. Digital products are generally not refundable once downloaded. If something is wrong with a purchase — a broken file, a failed download, a product that isn't what it said it was — email info@forest-freaks.com and we will sort it out.
3. Intellectual property
3.1. The music, artwork, text and design on this site belong to Forest Freaks Records or to the artists concerned, and are protected by copyright.
3.2. Buying a release gives you a personal listening licence. It does not transfer any rights. Commercial use, redistribution, remixing for release, and use in film, video or advertising all require written permission.
3.3. Preset packs are licensed for use in your own productions, including commercial ones. You may not resell, redistribute or repackage the presets themselves.
3.4. DJs and radio: playing our music out is why it exists. No permission needed.
3.5. For anything else, email info@forest-freaks.com.
4. Liability
4.1. This site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.
4.2. We link to external sites. We are not responsible for their content or their conduct.
4.3. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
5. Governing law
5.1. These terms are governed by the law of Lithuania.
5.2. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protections of the law of your own country, and you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
6. Changes
6.1. We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here, and the date at the top will say when.
